Evolutionary Dictionary uses single byte ASCII encoding for all text. Some modules use a different code page to allow display of characters specific to a language. These language modules require localization on the Handheld to display these characters correctly. Following is a list of localization programs some users have tried with success with Dictionary.
PalmOS
- CyrHack II - Russian (Cyrillic) - codepage 1251 - FREE.
- PiLoc Palm OS localization - Russian, Greek, Czech, Slovak, Turkish,Croatian, Polish, Hungarian and other East European languages.
- CJKOS - Chinese/Japanese/Korean.
- HanTIP - Korean.
