This comprises a number of frequently asked questions about our software in general, and about the purchasing and support process.
What do I get for my money?
You get unlimited use (expiry free), and in some programs you get additional functionality not available in the ShareWare version. Plus, you get FREE upgrades. Whenever a new version is released just download it from this site (or any other mirror site) and install it on your Palm (no need to re-register). You also get 30 days technical support for any complications that come up related to our software.
How do I make a purchase?
By far the easiest way is to order online here. All you need is a credit card (Visa, MC or Amex) and an E-mail address. You will be presented with a secure (SSL) web site, which will process your order automatically, sending you an Email message when the purchase has been authorized.
What do I get back?
You get a “key” or “unlock code” through e-mail which you use to unlock the software. Each of the programs has an 'About...' menu item (on the PalmOS Device or Windows CE Device, not the desktop software) which you select. You then tap on the 'Register...' button. A form will then popup asking you for your key. NOTE: The key is comprised of letters in the range 'A'-'F' and digits '0'-'9'. So, '0' are zero, not the letter 'O', and '1' are ones, not letter 'L's.
My key doesn't work!
This is always because you have omitted or incorrectly quoted your 'User Name'. Just e-mail us (support@evolutionary.net) with your order details and your CORRECT USER NAME (see below on how to find your user name).
Where do I find my user name?
PalmPilot users:
Go to the HotSync app on the PalmOS Device (Not the desktop software), and you will find your user name either after the "Welcome, " OR in the top-right corner. You need to quote this name. NOTE: the trailing '.' is NOT part of the user name.
Windows CE users:
Tap the 'Start' menu, select the 'Settings', then 'Owner' menu item. Your user name is in the 'Name:' field.
